When you pull the trigger and his waist spins down, give his pants another nudge forward and it should lock in.

There should be a little sort of tab hidden inside the waist area where it clicks into place. Try rotating the upper torso, while keeping the front of the belly in tight contact on the surface of the lower torso, until you find it. It doesn't really click stiff into place but it's enough to keep it from loosely rotating.

Hope this helps? and i hope i made sense. lolzz

Re: TFA Voy Optimus Waist Problem

I had a lot of concerns for the waist when I first got the figure, and I still have concerns. It is overdesigned and overengineered. For those people who don't look at the instructions there's a great risk of stripping the gears. It should just be manual instead of the whole spin drop. The whole thing is counter-intuitive anyways, since I would assume most kids would hold onto the legs and rotate the torso instead of holding the torso and clicking a button.

That Prime is awesome, but the waist is just not up to par in my opinion.
