Did you try going back later? You know that they pull merchandise before a big sale, to prevent to many people from buying it early and refunding the price difference. So they have stock when the sale shows up. They did that here. They only left 1 fig on each peg.

Just got back from 4 TRU stores today...wow that was an epic ride. Got some price adjustments and picked up about $109 worth of TFs altogether.

The Oakville location has about 4 Countdowns and 4 Stormclouds.

I will post the haul later today.

EDIT: NO I'm not lol. Not until I get Legends Warpath, Cosmos, Wheelie, Beachcomber, Brawn, and Bumblebee!!!!!!! - ah, at least they are cheap.

Here in St. Catharines, there are some Countdowns (about 5-6) and Darkwings (3-4). I picked up a Darkwing, left the Countdowns on the shelf though - the character doesn't do anything for me and that mold has been reused a couple of times I think.

Also, there are a bunch of Unicrons, a small assortment of various Voyager and Deluxe Universe, Leader/voyager Bulkheads, oilslicks, ani twins, supreme prime, 25th prime, ani SS, blitzwing, grimlock, ani voyager megatron, ani soundwave, swindle, plus the usual shelfwarmers from the 1st movie stuff.

Has anyone seen Animated Leader Megatron or Ultra Magnus at their local TRU? Would appreciate a heads up if you have. Thanks and good hunting.

I ordered ROTF Bumblebee, Soundwave and Optimus on sale on TRU.ca, but now they're gone. They better still ship them when the 15th and 30th roll around, and for sale price.

I just went back to TRU to check before they closed. I went to the TF section. It looked the same as this morning, except a little less full. I was about to leave, but I decided to inspect the Ultras a little better, and they had a lone Countdown and Darkwing at the back. They weren't there this morning! So either they got a truck in today, or the person I talked to this morning was BSing me.

And I picked up a Activators Grimlock just for the heck of it.

Before that, at WalMart, I also picked up the first wave of minibots(Hot Rod, Wheelie, Cosmos and Warpath) on sale and managed to swindle a ROTF Soundwave for $8.92.

And before that I saw Star Trek. May have been a shitty morning, but a great evening.

Picked up three TFA voyagers and three deluxes at four TRUs, most of the good stuff is gone now.

I don't know if this will work everywhere, but I took the flyer into Wal-Mart (here in Abbotsford) and they price-matched. Picked up Voyager Prime, Blitzwing and Activators Patrol Bumblebee and Cliffjumper (!) for the TRU sale prices.

I found a Darkwind in Hamilton. Had to wait 20 minutes wandering around the store trying to find someone to help me get him down from the top shelf, but it was worth it. Price with TFCon coupon: $18.97 + tax. :-D
