Re: Don’t open locked doors
The kids said "I thought you were made of sterner stuff."
......
That's why transformer collection is better, because they won't shatter into million pieces.

As someone working in childcare, it warms my heart to see parents actually punishing there children and following through with it.

Yeah, it kind of says something about the world when I'm surprised that the parents took complete responsibility for their child's actions and did the right thing.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Re: Don’t open locked doors
I don't know if this is real. There are a few things in this article that puzzles me:
- How old is this "kid"? The article makes it sound like a little kid did it, but how did those figures in the top shelves get so trashed? Even shaking the shelves should not dislodge the figures so.
- How does a "kid" get into a locked room? Why would he/she try so hard? The guy must have shown this collection to the kid before for the "kid" to try so hard.
- I don't think the guy locked the room properly and now blames the kid. If the collection is so valuable, I'd double check the room is locked properly before leaving.
It just doesn't add up...

I agree the story is very sketchy. Even adults collectibles can get quite a beating and most of the figures on the pictures just look to have fallen on the floor with accesories scattered around. I dont know much about gundam collections, but 35000$ for this? I highly doubt that, its not a misb g1 collection.

Re: Don’t open locked doors
Yeah, most of the gundam should be able to reassembled easily(but identify the parts from the mess won't be easy).

Re: Don’t open locked doors
Isn't part of the fun with Gundam toys, the building? That dude should pay the kid for getting the chance to build them again
