DOTM figures for non-Bayverse-fans
I have quite a few of the ROTF figures but I must say I am not too keen on DOTM line so far (but I bet there are more to see in later waves). So for those who don't like Bayverse figures in general, what are some of the figures you may still get in the DOTM line? Shockwave? The new Megatron? The Wreckers? For me the only one I may consider at the moment is Sentinel Prime... maybe if and when it's on sale. Comments??

i'm considering the new megs... i like the design for some reason. the new powerglide maybe... have to see it up close, as it still may be "too bayverse" for me. shockwaves another possibility as he does officially look pretty bad ass.

Re: DOTM figures for non-Bayverse-fans
From what we know of thus far, not a single figure.
The only way I will buy a Bayverse figure again is if they do something like Seaspray which is more of a Classics than a Bayverse.
That or if I watch the 3rd movie, it is so mind blowingly good that something snaps with in me and I go out and buy them all.....A Bay transformers film and good LMAO
I'm glad I am not spending money on this line lol.

Re: DOTM figures for non-Bayverse-fans
Seaspray looked way more bay-verse then classics. I don't even know how you guys can even substitute it.
I'm not a big Bay-verse guy but I really enjoyed figures like Swerve,Tomahawk,Terradive and Lockdown from ROTF.
This time around I'll definetly be getting Space Case, Air raid, Vortex.
The three Wreckers, Sky hammer, Whirl and Sandstorm and that sideswipe who's got a number of homages on him.

Re: DOTM figures for non-Bayverse-fans
I'm not diggin much in the movie line. I will try to keep an open mind and not pass judgement until I can actually see/hold the figure in hand. I find alot of the pics on line make some figures look WAY BETTER then they actually are.

Re: DOTM figures for non-Bayverse-fans
I don't know why people are so obsessed with DOTM Shockwave, I have one and it's really not that great of a figure, seriously. If you hate Bay-verse toys but dig Shockwave, I think there's no logic in that reasoning because Shockwave is exactly what a Bay-verse Transformer is all about, only amplified. ROTF Megatron had a better tank mode. The arms are oddly articulated and the rubber hose gets in the way of poseability and gets in the way when you try to deploy the MechTech weapon in tank mode. It's not as bad as Movie Voyager Megatron or annoying as ROTF Voyager The Fallen with his spring-loaded feet, but still, there are much better DOTM toys out there. He's cool because he's Shockwave, that's about it.

Re: DOTM figures for non-Bayverse-fans
Non-movie ROTF figures have been great, so hopfully there will be some DOTM figures along that same line.
I'm not sure what I will be getting, but I do know that is will have to be on sale.
