Pretty much I take what I can get. All my stuff's actually sitting in a basement in rubbermaids at the moment.

Space/Series: Animated and BW figs have their own espective spots, while those who are neither i lumped in with "autobots" or "decepticons", but "seekers" and "marvel transformers" get their own spots as well. Of course, Primus and Unicron are seperate from the others.

Usually by series. I also try to keep colors separated. For instance, I'm not going to put G1 Prime, Inferno, Sideswipe, Ironhide, Powerglide etc. all next to each other. I spread the colors out.

Alphabetically Seriously, most are in storage bins I only have the newest stuff on display... then off to storage. One day I do want to display it all, but I need some nice glass cases first.

By series with the autobiots on the left side and the cons on the right. I do not mix any lines together as well as no figure any acsessories that do not belong to them. The only exception are the big guysnasntheu need their own space.

I put them in action poses and put them wherever I have space. I've even hung them from light fixures and the like if I've run out of desk/shelf space.

Right now I have a couple of displays that have my classics autobots on top, and the decepticons below. I have another small shelf with some of the odd figures that don't fit in aka spacey stuff. I plan on having another couple shelves with BW show characters eventually.

Re: Poll. Do you display your TF's by size/style or grouped by series?

well, before my house was broken into, and my entire collection thrown onto the floor (except my G1's O_o) they were all sorta mixed. I have them all off the floor, but not displayed right now... WAY too much damn work to re-pose and display over 250 knocked over figures.

Anyways, I had them all grouped, mixed faction. All AEC and Titanium toys were displayed with eachother, mixed up on a wall shelf unit, and a bookcase with my Movie figures. I had all my Alternators/Binaltech on a dresser, organized by Faction, with the Masterpiece Starscream, G1 repaint SS, and Skywarp sitting behind them.

And I have a bookcase that contains all my G1's (arranged by faction and size)
Along with other random figures, like a Micromaster shelf, Beast Wars shelf, G2 shelf, re-issue box shelf, and my old-G1 beat up broken toys shelf, hahaha

I used to seperate be series, but at this point it's where-ever there is room. Just have to keep the bots from the cons, they don't play well together.
