Where to get Takara Blurr & Scourge for Canadians?
I've checked Anime Export, HLJ, etc. but everywhere seems to be sold out of Takara Blurr and Scourge.
I picked up Hardhead, Skullcruncher, and Wheelie at TRU yesterday but the quality control problems with paint and tabs have turned me off Hasbro.
I'm mainly looking for Blurr and Scourge but will probably by the Takara Tomy versions of everything. Anybody know a good place with decent shipping to Canada that still carries this or has a recommendation for a site to order from?

You mean like a selection of online sites like the one on the right side of this website?
Seriously though check out our sponsor websites. Banners on the right.

Tak/To and Hasbro toys are made in the same factorties. So any problems in the molding process are as likely for either companies product.

I really don't understand this myth of Takara toys being so much higher quality. Just recently, a friend had MP Ratchet shatter on initial handling. MPs are notoriously fragile. I've never handled a Japanese version of even a generations figure that was somehow that much better.
UW Devastator is a better figure than CW, but that's because of additional tooling, latches, and supports than anything to do with QC. *shrugs*

Re: Where to get Takara Blurr & Scourge for Canadians?
just because Hasbro and takara may use the same factories does not mean the same quality is present. there are many factors in terms of quality like the grade of plastic they use, what type of plastic they use/ where they get it, the amount of paint apps and clean up of the diesets and other equipment which takes time and money. I work in plastic manufacturing and I notice a difference with plastic quality, its not a huge difference but its there. Its all part of the budget that is alloted for each figures production, hasbro obviously sets a smaller budget than Takara during this process and it does show.

Takara blurr preorders are pretty much sold out everywhere. I think robot kingdom had some last week but they change a ton for shipping. Blurr was basically the most sought after character from the legends line due to being almost completely cartoon accurate

I agree Takara Blurr is better than Hasbro one, because of the color.
However the Takara Blurr cost 50 USD... and Hasbro is just 20 CAD, so I will stick with my Hasbro version.

Im getting the Takara headmasters for just over half of that price and share shipping with others so its not as bad as that. If you buy imported figures from a NA site then yes, they will be expensive but not if you buy overseas.

Is there a group buy somewhere or just a personal contact? I'm looking to get almost the entire Takara line up because cartoon accuracy is my thing.
