Just saying.

It doesn't matter whether anyone agrees with you or not, that's a moot point. Your advice was completely irrelevant to this issue at hand and does not help the OP resolve the problem at all.

Anyways I found the listing and I think his request was totally valid, as there was a language issue. The seller said it was “100% complete”. Based on the fact that the image looks unopened I would expect all the paperwork too.
If you were asking where he said it that was the first thing pretty much, if not then disregard. Anyway language issue or not manufacturers make mistakes all the time with stuff like that. Sealed doesn't mean perfect. IIRC there was a board member not to long ago who sold an FE CJ that was sealed and the buyer claimed the head was missing. If it's a sealed item how can the seller check. I recently bought Power Baser and it came with 2 sets of instructions and cards so the next one in line didn't get a set I assume. Mistakes happen

Re: Need some advice.

Regardless, as I said, the guy is sending me the instructions.

Are they sending the original instructions or a photocopy?

No I hear you, but the original eBay auction never actually says MISB anywhere.

Sure it does i gave clear advice.
Google it.
This big long speil for instructions.
Seems kinda unfair to the seller.
Like some of the comments stating it was not misb or misb.
Shouldnt matter.
Factories sometimes dont include instructions that should not fall on the seller.
Seller is not responsible.
For factory errors of 20 + year old toys.
Seller might get a bad rap for instructions.
Some people have too much time on their hands.

Re: Need some advice.

This is only tangentially related but I love the fact that Hasbro has a searchable database of a lot of it's old instructions. (No classic Transformers though)

Here are some cool examples:

https://www.hasbro.com/common/instru...Mustang_GT.pdf

Doesn't solve the issue at all in that the OP was looking for actual paper instruction he expected to come with his purchase. The onus is sort of on the seller to ensure those are there or else clearly lay out the nature of the item.

Re: Need some advice.

Were all beating a dead horse here, the issue has been resolved and i think both the seller and buyer did a good job communicating the problem and solution.
Case closed. Elvis has left the building. 'Silence is the right of every sentient being.'
