Question Any good places in Montreal?

I was wondering if anyone can shed some light and guide my way.

I'm heading to Montreal tomorrow and I was wondering if there are any places downtown or around the city where I can find Transformers. New, vintage... anything!

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Spe><

Pretty much. I've never been to Legends myself, though...
Toys on Fire is at 1539 Van Horne, you can find a map at www.toysonfire.com.

I dunno... Montreal's not quite the place to go if you're looking for toys and stuff...

Cool! Thanks guys. Do they have vintage stuff there? I heard about Legends and their steep prices.

Freedom, I'm just heading up there for a work meeting but I'll have a whole day to myself to go TF hunting. Hopefully I'll find something good. I'll post the haul too.

I doubt you'd find any store selling vintage stuff in Montreal. If you find any let me know

And here's legend's website where you can find more on TF and their contact/location

Besides toy hunting, you should definitely get some good smoked meat and beer. There's some good eats in Montreal. I miss Montreal. Mmm... food...

Re: Any good places in Montreal?

Bagels are the best in Montreal! I had such a great time.

You guys were right. No vintage TF's anywhere. But I did end up buying some.

The Bay (Ste. Catherine)
The had a whole bunch of movie deluxes there. I picked up 08 Bumblebee and Cliffjumper. I think someone on the board was looking for "The Capture Of Bumblebee" and they had a couple. $29.99 the usual price. Tons of Real Gear and some weird TF projector thing. I was actually looking to find 25th Joes but nothing.

Legends (Ste. Hubert?)
That place was pretty cool. But... expensive. Didn't buy anything. I like Silver Snail better.

Non TF.
I went to this store called "Off the Hook". Jeez what a place. Nice clothes. I bought New Balance 574's for $45. They had vintage Transformers and pretty cool retro toys above their cash register. Plus a great collection of Kid Robot stuff.

I bought a Kid Robot shirt. I couldn't resist.

Montreal was great! I'm coming back. But I'm off to Calgary on Thursday. This time I'll bring my camera.

Cheers!
And perhaps I'll be in your city soon.

Head over to Regency place mall (in Chinatown) if you like jap tf's, KO's or Gundams!
And the bay Downtown is currently packed with Tf's, so head there too.

Man...... TF wise, you won't find anything vintage..... and sadly the 2 stores mention are RAPE, I know both owners and they openly don't give a ****, specially with TF the movie still hot on the heals of new impulse buyers.
