Great thing is that online battles allow you to set the level to 50, bumping lower mons up and bringing stronger mons down to even the playing field.

I'm a total pokemon novice, never played any of them before, always kinda looked down on adults who played this silly kids rpg... But I've been listening to a lot of podcasts lately, and nearly every one of them is raving about x&y, so I sucked it up and bought x, and god help me, I'm really enjoying it! I'm not very far, I don't think, but I've got a team that works pretty well, and I can roll over just about anything I've ncountered
I don't have my friend code handy, but I'll post it when I get home tonight
