I like both. I think the Star Trek universe is better developed, but they have both had their good and bad parts. In the end, as far as sci-fi series' go, I think I prefer Farscape over the other two just for its sheer crazy factor.

Really, I just came here to say: "There... are... four... lights!" WAR PICARD!

How do you like Jordies 80s Banana hair clip eye piece. That is some hi-tech gadgetry going on there.

Hey guys, Sorry for the lack of update. I just went through the MOVE FROM HELL and I have subsequently lost my BELL PVR so I will need do a bit more work to get the rest, but I did catch a few of what I would expect to be some major Star Trek TNG ep's in the fandom.

Ok First up:
The Royal- I thought that this was a fun little ep. It nicely exemplifies my previous comment that a 1 hour ep can be a self contained story. I also love the connection to the past event of the American Astronaut, but am still not sure how an American space craft could venture out so far. Was it after first contact, and if so, did first contact happen after WW3? Didn't all the "countries" fall after ww3. Maybe I am thinking about something else.

Also, in that particular EP, was the original Astronaut to play along as the “out of town investors” and never really understood the game, therefore being trapped for ever?

More to come as I get time.

Yeah... don't look too much into that episode. It's not one of the greatest...

I watched Manhunt this morning...

I liked the Holodeck stuff, but thought the plot kept getting in the way of the Fun.

I do enjoy Picard as a main character. Next to Data, I think he is my favorite character.

Re: Starting to Watch Star Trek: TNG... and I like it.

I did see Q Who, but like I mentioned, I am now downloading these so it is a bit slower on the uptake.

Q Who has to be one of those "ZOMG we just dropped a big deal in your lap" kind of ep from the fandom perspective.

But I have to ask WTF is Q and why does a GOD LIKE being exist in the TREK universe? I guess it it helped the story along like a Mcguffin, but still there had to be another way to achive the same result; time warp, worm hole, somthing has to be better than that. Very cool to see the addiction of the Borg though.
