It's not. I've talked to the guy that started the site. He is legit, a local seller in Winnipeg. There's just some problems getting the actual domain started.

No word or update on the Canadian collector forum from the Canadian store looking for our business?
That's what's shady.

To me, if it is shady / a scam / whatever, the site would be up and taking orders with little-to-nothing being shipped, and no (or poor) communication from the seller/retailer.
I haven't seen anyone post about ordering and not having received anything for weeks past an expected delivery date. So...

It'snot so much that it's a scam.
It just does not bode well for customer service, etc.
An ominous sign if you will.

Aye... it is an onimous sign.
It’s not an easy business and often times it requires a huge amount of capital to start up.
Mario & Automaton Toys (previous site sponsor years ago) had to sell/move on from the business...
