1496 FE Voyager Boxes somewhere in Canada

Was at TRU today, and talked to one of the women at the customer service desk.

According to her, there were 1496 boxes of Voyager FE Primes shipped out from the main warehouse on Jan 14th. My local TRU has yet to receive that shipment, i cant speak for other locations. It typically takes 1.5-2.5 weeks from the date of release at the central warehouse for arrival at respective stores. Just for reference- she gve me that number from the inventory screen.

so 1496 Bulkheads, and 4488 Primes.

That means that 1496 boxes would be split relatively evenly between all the TRU stores in Canada (no im not going on a google search to figure that number out).

On top of that, TRU 30% sale on all non Deluxe Transformers starts tomorrow (friday) - so you can bet those voyagers will be going fast.

The best approach to getting there first, from my understanding, is this. Do what you need to figure out what days of the week a truck is arriving at your local TRU. On that day, show up around 5:00, they've had enough time to unload the truck, but all the new stock is sitting in the warehouse. Last step - go and ask someone, nicely, if you can find a manager type (typically not wearing TRU shirts) to check the warehouse for the fig you are looking for. (alo bear in mind the trucks dont run on weekends, as far as i know)

or you could camp out at your local toys r us. like the scalpers do and buy everything in sight and leave nothing for the collector for profit! $17.99 + tax here I come!

Well, my TRU originally had about 20 Bulheads or so (back three or four weeks ago).

I guess those would have been in a prior shipment? Something before January 14th?

All 1496 cases are in my basement. I'm putting them on ebay for $500/case. Enjoy.

for the TRU in Kitchener, there were at least 2 shipments of voyagers before xmas (i didnt see much on the shelves but i was popping in around 11pm, im sure the crazed xmas shopping depleted numbers fast)---, i stayed the fudgesicle away from stores boxing day week, so IDK, and then a dry spell for a couple weeks (i had all 6 before xmas so i wasnt keeping a close eye persay) and now at least 3 other seemingly small shipments every week since mid january.

i just though i would post this so that razin would finally admit he stole them all off the back of a really big truck - i mean, hoping to let people know to keep an eye peeled if they are still looking.

i did the same at tf- but im also concerned i may just be tipping scalpers off.

Glad to hear there is more coming for those who want to try and get one. However the resale market is already starting to slow down. If you look on Ebay the early auctions getting 3-4 times retail have come and gone. Now it seems to be down to 2-3 times retail.

I would like to get a Bulkhead, but I won't kill myself trying to find one.

Everyone find out how many boxes of voyagers your TRU got so we can deduct that from 1496 and have an exact number on how boxes are left!!!
