Massa injured and out of Hungarian GP
Massa was hit by a what appears to be a spring from another formula1 car.

It says surgery was sucsessful, and thats about it.

So last word he was awake. That's the most important relief. 
They confirmed eye damage so let's hope it's repairable and he's back in the driver's seat for 2010.

Jesus..... 2nd string to Schumacher for years, then 2nd string to Kimi, gets a BREAK in 2008, only to have him crying at the podium.... poor guy never gets a break.

Doctors confirmed on Tuesday that he's able to open and see out of his left eye. He's also out of bed, able to walk around and speak in three languages. He was released from intensive care yesterday. Doctors are hopeful he'll be able to leave the hospital within a week or so.
All I can say is

Ouch! That's such a mean picture, proto!!
While I am sad for Massa, Schumacher back is a dream come true for so many fans all over the world.
And coming back to a car that is only 4th best says alot about his character. I soooo hope he's competitive and is up there with Vettel & Hamilton.

Crazy photo! I showed the german guy at work. He says "Send me dat!" Then I asked him to say "get to the chopper!"
He said nien.
They say you lose some speed not being in the car. I guess that would make him even with the rest of the field. I haven't been this excited about a F1 race since... well ever.
