Cool stores in Toronto

Hey guys,

Visiting the gf in Toronto for the long weekend, any cool stores or places that I should check out? Been a decade since I've last been here. Does Silver Snail still exist?

Re: Cool stores in Toronto

Well Silver Snail's website is still up so it must still exist :

http://www.silversnail.com/main

Haven't been there myself as I live a few hours away from Toronto but I've heard good things from other board members.

Silver Snail still exist and now located in Yonge and Dundas. It's North-East along Yonge between Futureshop and HMV I think.

Re: Cool stores in Toronto

There's also 401 Games around Yonge & Wellesley. Mostly card & board games but a decent figure selection.

If you want Anime and import stuff, check out AnimeXtreme along Spadina (between St. Andrew & D'arcy st.) Just keep a look out or you might miss it.

Re: Cool stores in Toronto

I see I spotted this a little late.

Yeah, Silver Snail is on the second floor of a store near Yonge and Dundas on the east side of Yonge (your right side if you're walking up from Dundas), just north of Dundas. It's easy to miss, try and look for the sign. I think there is a Five Guys or some other burger joint on the main floor.

I would also recommend AnimeExtreme. It's on the East side of Spadina (right side if you're walking up from Dundas).

401 Games is okay, but as said focuses more on card and board games.

I would do a tour of the Steam Whistle Brewery. I thought it was fun.
