I bough both a while back I really don't mind energon prime (combined) and the new color is good the omega piece is well worth picking up and I believe that they still combine, I was hopeing that hasbro would smarten up and make the intellegent move,.. since we are still running the prime series it would have made more sence to have the two pack year of the snake prime/unicron in there new decos released at toys especially since we never did get a unicron release to start with here........

I was watching a review last night and Hasbro removed all the electronic functions that the Energon Optimus Prime had...this really sucks!

^This. I wouldn't take that POS Optimus even if they paid me. I'm glad I picked up Omega from Amazon. It probably turned out to be a lot cheaper than TRU will be (assuming they even carry it).

I'm definitely not going to be getting this Year of the Snake Optimus Prime, but the original Energon version was kinda cool, IMO. Especially if you watch this:

Personally I like the mold, nothing beats "SUPAA MODE" like a team combination haha. I'm not too fond of the colours on this release though.
