Sucker Punch

Saw it last night. It was pretty good. Basically a live action Anime, complete with chicks in schoolgirl uniforms, mechs, a barely passable script, and alternate fantasy worlds.

My favorite part was the steam-powered Nazis. The worst part was all the slow motion. Seriously, half the movie was in slow motion. If this is how Snyder plans on shooting Superman, then we might have some problems.

The main actress was pretty terrible also. First of all, she couldn't act. Second of all, she sucked in the action sequences where it wasn't all suped up with fancy camera tricks. There's this one part where she's swinging the sword, she was so freaking slow. It took me a second to realize it wasn't in slow motion.

It is what it is. Not really great, not really bad unless you were expecting Shakespeare. Just don't expect anything more than a two hour music video. Overall, It was worth my $12.

Re: Sucker Punch

If you decide to go see Sucker Punch, you dont go for the script. And SP's main character in slow mo is an added bonus if you as me
