Online Retailers like BBTS

Hello just wondering if anyone has information on BigBadToyStore. Used it once years ago and remember getting hit with customs fees. Is that still a thing? I assume all prices are in USD?

Is there any online retailer better suited for shipping in Canada?

Recently got back into Collecting with PoTP and want to finish off some Combiner Wars and Titans Return.

Prices are in USD.

Customs fee are dependent on the mood of the customs agent.

Stores on the right are a good place to start, the Buy Sell Trade section would be as well.

You could give Ages 3 and Up a try. No customs fee since they ship from Canada and free shipping on orders over $200. They charge in USD and the prices are pretty much the same as BBTS when it comes to Transformers.

If you choose the slowest/cheapest method, you could be ok. Anything shipped with UPS, FedEx or Priority, you're likely to pay customs.

This. Sometimes you'll get hit, other times you wont. More valuable packages make it more likely, but it seemingly happens at random. I've had $100+ packages from overseas, no customs. $20 package from US? Customs!

Also check Walmart and TRU's sites, they're clearancing most of what's left of CW and TR.

they have a .ca site if you prefer to pay in cad

Ages3andUp do not insure their shipments and pass the loss onto their customers - I would try elsewhere.

Ive had no problems with tfdirect so far. Picked up every zeta toys release rhrough them so far with no xustoms. Free shipping over $150 is. Prices can be adjusted o site to cad for easier budgeting.

automatontoys and Ages3andUp are ones I use. Never had issues with either of them. A3UP is USD though while Automaton was in USD for a long while but back to CAD.
HLJ.com is also good and very rarely have I gotten hit with customs.

I have since switched from BBTS to A3U and have no issued with them so far.
