They also took over the locations/signed new leases for the former Bed Bath & Beyond retail stores in Canada, for their home decor business.

I never bothered to look at those stores, but I think the company as a whole is stretched thin.

I also noticed that the store hours at Sherway have been reduced. They close now at 7pm on some week days and have hardly any staff at the location.

They're reduced hours for a lot of the stores now actually, since last summer as far as I noticed.

Rooms + Spaces. Carries a small Toysrus Toybox section but otherwize was just BBB with new ownership. They actually started closing a number of them. Unpaid rent, breaking lease agreements, etc.

I saw the Vinyl records at a couple of stores, I guess Sunrise is slowly moving in.

ya the wife & I were in Ottawa @ the StLaurent location back just before Xmas, looking for videogame section and realized that whole area had been converted into "collectibles" and the like - all the game stuff was gone

Yup they were clearing out the VG sections at the local stores here. There's a handful of discs left on obscure shelves but pretty much everything is gone. There were some decent deals going while they were clearing out but I doubt there's anything good left. The former VG sections were taken over primarily by Funko's and LEGO, and some other more "adult" collectibles.
