This seems like a really good deal...too good?

Long time guys!

So, I'm looking to purchase a TF for the first time in many years. Seems like MP Star Saber has caught my eye, in particular. So searching prices, I came across this:

It seems as though there are KOs out there but this seller has great feedback and listing states Takara instead of "Unbranded".

Think I'm safe with this one? Thanks!!

I dont know, but it looks good. A KO would be cheaper

Be careful about this seller ( I never deal with him before, just based on experience.)

If you check his feedback, all items are marked as "private", so u don't know if it's really transformers related or not, he might be just selling beads before to boost his feedback then switch to scam collectors like us.

I actually bought a KO Star Saber on taobao for under $100cad shipped. You can tell the main difference of a real and fake by looking at the eyes. The KO version eyes are not coloured so they look like Tak MP10 eyes. While the authentic version would have eyes like Hasbro MP10. If that make any sense.

Good call. I checked his items for sale and its all TFs. What seems odd to me is that it seems like the lowest priced MP Star Saber listed but only 1 has sold.

Makes perfect sense. How was the quality of the KO? I try to avoid them but my budget may say otherwise lol.

It really is not too bad, the plastic quality feels a bit more rough and thin in some places. Parts with die-cast are still there. For the price i paid, i am totally fine with it...I sold my authentic one but then 100 vs 225. It would be your decision.

netclow is also good, u can buy from him too. I found netclow's items sometime has better price than bababobo00712 recently.

I'm starting to learn that about sellers with positive feedback for privately listed items very quickly over the past month or 2. It never used to be a cause for concern, but I've been scammed 4 times in the past couple of months from sellers like this, all based out of China too. Fortunately, eBay and PayPal have been easy to deal with to get my money back from these fraudsters.

+1 for both. Have bought from both netclow and bababobo multiple times in the past, they've always come through just fine.

Good to know, thanks. I just bought my first TF from him last week
i found the $5 off $70 link for baba's ebay page, helps bring his prices down a bit but I honestly just buy it from him as he's always delivered, and quickly too.

Yeah eBay/PayPal always comes through but I loose out a few bucks on the currency conversion spread on my CC.
