Well tbh, Megs wasn't in the movie much, and didn't fight much for that matter, so they ended up making leaders of the characters that got more focus. I would've liked a DOTM leader version to go with Leader SS though.

For Movie Megs, my personal favourite is the ROTF Voyager mold over the DOTM ver, because the head sculpt is so terrifying, and his murder arm is perfect for impaling Battle Blades Prime.

I would have to say for me MP Megatron, WFC Megatron and in third place Prime Deluxe Megatron. And runner up BW Trex Megatron. These would be my favorites.

They have yet to make a Megatron that appeals to me. I was never happy with G1 Megs being a hand-gun and every version of his toy just looked too skinny.

I like the idea of him being a Tank or Truck but there's not a Tank version I like and a Truck is too TF Movie (which I ignore in my collection).

I think I'm waiting for the perfect Tank... I want an earth-vehicle-mode Megs even if I agree that the WFC/FOC Megs feels like the best thing we've seen so far.

Seriously, get Movie 2007 Deluxe Brawl and pop a Megatron-like head on him. You now have a Neo-G2 Megatron. He's got an arm cannon, changes into a tank, and looks pretty imposing. And he's bulky enough that the Bayverse style can be overlooked.

Not sure how a head swap would be on the Leader class version of Brawl though, but that might be a direction to investigate.

Or another option, try to customize Power Core Combiner Heavytread into a tank Megatron. Though he'll be a bit small.

5 sadly, MP Megatron. I dont remember being as excited for a tf like I was for him. What a gargantuan let down in the long run. Still a good figure, just nit the MP it should be.
