Has anyone that preordered SW on-line on August 5th received shipping confirmation yet? It looks as if TRU conveniently forgot the first round in favour of pre-orders placed during the 25% off sale 2 weeks later.

Because they think those "25% off sale" orders are less likely get cancelled?

My Acid Storm got shipped yesterday. And I got my 25% off credit applied today that they said would happen afterwards. So I don't think the discount is causing problems.


My order was placed August 7th

I did manage to have the infamous "HASBRO25PD" code applied against my P-O around the same time as the on-line sale happened. I figured that was safer than cancelling my iniitial order and placing a new one. Guess I was wrong.

Oh well.

Time to call TRU and tear them a new asshole through the phone .

Got my x3 Acid Storms today! Sweet; can't wait for MP Soundwave and Classics Metroplex to arrive soon.

Just got off the phone with a customer service rep. She said that there probably won't be an email sent to those who preordered on day 1 because they will just go and ship those orders. She said be patient and wait to see if you get a shipping notice instead of the other email. I also ordered on aug. 5th in the morning and have not received the email everyone else is getting. Waiting now to see of this lady was just blowing smoke.

Ok, so the TRU rep that I tore a new asshole for (not really...I was quite polite, actually) said later pre-orders are shipping from a different warehouse compared to the initial ones.

Huh?

Anyways it would be great to ask a TRU rep to compare an earlier order number like mine that are still pending versus one of the later ones that are getting shipment notifications to see exactly WTF is going on.

As far as I know, *no one* has gotten a shipping confirmation email for Soundwave yet. Everyone posting about getting shipping emails is getting them for Acid Storm only.

The Soundwave email some have gotten and others haven't just says "we expect to get stock in the next couple weeks, please be patient".

I got this latter email for Metroplex today. Did not get one for my Aug 5 (day 1) Soundwave pre-order.

Just got my AcidStorm delivered right now. Mint box no dents, but seriously no padding at all!!!
