Okay, so here is a major throwback. I look at an assortment of the line that many say ended the G1 era. They were the famous "transformers that don't transform"! I'm talking about the controversial Action Masters. Sure, they had some major issues but also charming in their own way. Nice review on action masters I really liked these little guys there also were the action masters elite ....Europe editions that did transform and also some of these that combined with there vehicle to form battle suits.....really an extra extention of what I thought was a cool line of tf toys plus the story line explanation I thought was an interesting curve to transformers history...
I loved them as a kid. I mean, they are dated, but still look like the animaion...mostly. I knew about the elite and would have loved to be able to include, say, Omega Supreme. Like you, I was okay once I knew the story line cover up,lol.
