new MP 2.0 Hot Rod coming?

Well, tbh, Rodimus is one of the ones I figured were sub par. If take 2 is anything like the MP-01 to MP-10 shift, it seems rather promising. If it blows, don't worry I wont disappoint. Expect a bit of vocal opinion. I'm not the type to shy away from instigating discussion. Keeps things interesting.

Edit- and I did also say I preordered Ironhide. I could very well change my opinion when it's in hand. Still though, I see myself captioning pics with him being asked "Why the long face?" haha

So how tall is Hot Rod supposed to be? This thing seems like it will be way smaller that MP-9 if it needs to fit in Primes trailer or be carried by UM.

I expect he'll be around the size of Prowl if he is supposed to be able to fit in Prime's trailer, hopefully he's a bit taller though between Prowl and Ironhide height.

Why? In the cartoon Hot Rod wasn't any larger than Jazz or Prowl? He's just a car, he should be their size.

Translation of the blurb in the scan: The next new design (MP) figure in line after Ironhide is Cybertron's young warrior. Scale will be in line with the the other realistic car MPs like Prowl, etc

MP-9 is a good concept with poor execution, so here's hoping that Takara will make this figure as good as the MP cars.

Removing the need to "grow" from Hot Rod to Rodimus Prime means the figure itself will be more solid (Hopefully).

I just took out my MP official guide and looked at the various design ideas and sketches. Looks like TT has had some nice idea for accessories that did not realized with MP-09: Daniel with hover board, fishing rod, Quintesson fish (Sharkticon), and also a stand that double as lookout mountain gunner station.

Well looks like I'll be able to save some money. Nice to have some MPs that I can skip. Already have Rodimus with the MP10 scaled collection and Hasbro RP as HotRod with MP01&05, so I have no need for any more Rodimi.

Still interested to see more info on this release though.
