Fair enough, but if you're not in a hurry and just want to be able to secure it, that's a steep price to pay.

Including shipping, EE quoted me $38.94. That's $21 to ship an $18 figure? No thanks. Just can't pay more on the shipping then the figure itself on principle.

Yup, Scramblecore is where I brought my PO too since BBTS, Robot Kingdom, Captured Prey, Toy Dojo and many other e-tailers have already sold out. Was kinda hoping Automaton or A3U would get their PO links up by now since Canucktibles sold out too, but the pace at how it's selling out elsewhere had me worried, so I gave this store a try since they look to be operated by a TFW member at least.

They already have....

BBTS, RK, ToyDojo, Captured Prey, Chosen Prime...they've all posted links and have sold out. Dojo even took their link down. TFSource hasn't had a link up yet that I noticed, but then you get dinged with customs from them now anyways so I passed on considering them.

No, I mean 'normal' like Amazon, ToysRUs, Target, Walmart, etc. In the US, at least. I know Amazon had a few for a minute at midnight, but I would expect more to come later on.

I ordered the Amazon one when it was $40.95 USD. Yes, it's a bit steep perhaps, but it's about what I would've expected to pay if I preordered from Automaton or EE. It's not the price of the figure that kills us, it's the shipping to Canada.

Edit: And yes: I'm THAT sick to death of all these split-second, blink-and-you'll-miss-it, preorder games that I actually find it appealing to be able to just buy something and be sure I'll get it.

When you order two from EE, with the shipping, it averages out to just under $30 U.S. or $40 Can. Which isn't too bad. If you order only one it feels like getting bent over.

I hate it too. To be fair, however, you ordered through a third party on Amazon, not Amazon itself. The Amazon price was $16.99.

EE (or any use retailer) isn't too bad if you have access to a US shipping address like many of us in the Vancouver area do. $9 for shipping for 3 (me, uncle and Kirbenvost) Grooves. Works out to be around $22 US per person.

"Normal" stores won't carry Groove as this is an online exclusive. Like Slingshot and Wildrider from last year. Though correct me if I'm wrong. Hence the mass ordering online.
