update,so right after work yesterday,i picked up the wee one and proceeded to fight my way through rush hour traffic to deliver the goods.i thought it was an accident or something but it ended up being a check stop that was backing up traffic on john laurie,both west and east bound

the only other negative was that i had wanted sadie to hand the stuff out to the kids there (a new experience,giving instead of always only receiving)but we weren't allowed to
,understandable because we weren't "sterile" like the RN's there.
once all was said and done though,the nurses asked me to say thanks for the help and thinking of them this time of year to all who were involved with this shin dig
.
also,apparently sadie and i will be getting a thank you card in the mail too.
