Is Consumers Distributing making a comeback?

I was about to post the question if you thought that Consumers Distributing could make a better go of things with the online retailer world we live in now.

A quick trip down memory lane via Google gave me this: http://consumersdistributing.ca. It looks like the company that brought the best catalog ever is back from the dead.

Anyone know much about this? Anyone else possibly excited by this?

Thumbs up Re: Is Consumers Distributing making a comeback?

Whoa!!!

In theory, this would work in today's world.

A giant warehouse, with a decent sized, but tiny "store front" for walk-ins, and a fairly large section for employees to pack up stuff and load trucks to take to post office...or they could even offer delivery up to a certain radius.

Less theft, and possibly less returned products with stuff other than the product inside.

With modern photography, the catalog won't have those grainy pictures anymore.

Re: Is Consumers Distributing making a comeback?

Interesting, but what's with the grammatical mistake?

"Consumers Distributing would like to thank you everyone for their support on Cyber Monday."

Aw man, I remember the catalogues. I use to spend hours pouring over them to look at toy section.

It was like toy porn.
