Why are so many people content to say OMG this is good because it's what we're getting, not what we deserve.

Look at Star Wars the Force Awakens, a totally shitty movie that was just a copy of episode 4. We deserved better than that.

Look at Star Trek's reboot, we deserved better than a lame Romulan miner and a shitty Khan as villains.

Look at the shitty Ghostbusters remake, look at the shitty X-Men movies, the shitty Fantastic Four movies.

As fans we should not only expect more, we should be demanding more, it's our money that funds these franchises day in day out.

All I can say is, I come to these forums to get excited about my hobby, and to connect with other people who are also excited about it, regardless of whether the pieces of it they like match with the pieces I like.

Posts like this drain the fun and happiness from this community, and it makes me sad to have visited the site today.

I love Transformers and while I don't necessarily think all of the Bayverse movies have been great, they've all been entertaining in their own way. I'm ready to let TF5 show me what it's got.

SMH in here lol. You don`t like a movie, just don`t watch it. Its just like the RID toys, they`re not for me, so I don`t pick them up, instead of calling for a boycott hoping it`ll change corporate opinions. According to the sightings threads, some people out there like them, and that`s good enough for me.

Can't we get a brand new aesthetic vision up in here? It's been NINE YEARS! The novelty of the 'exploded car on a monster skeleton' design has worn off two movies ago.

I enjoyed all 4 movies even they are not great...... That's fine, because I don't expect them to be on the same level as The Shawshank Redemption or Schindler's List anyway.
