I'm assuming we'll be seeing a Hasbro reveal at Botcon but if not I'll preorder as soon as HLJ has it. He'll go nicely on my OP shelf. I like the RID2015 design, I've just been waiting for a good toy. Might get Jazz too while I'm at it.

Looks like Takara took the TAV21 OP and souped him up...this is TAV33:



Much more "battle mode" like than TAV21, and comes with a 25cm sword. Looks like it also comes with some chromed parts according to the description...I may have to cancel TAV21 and wait for this one

...looks like they retooled the FOC Grimlock mold into the RID/TAV Grimlock. They're dropping slight repaints of the United Rumble & Frenzy into this line too, and the retool of RID/TAV Drift into IDW Drift actually looks kickass (new head!).

Gotta laugh at the fact that Takara has now released the United/Generations Rumble/Frenzy twice and still never released for North America :P

Looks pretty epic, but I'll wait to see color pics before I cancel anything. I don't want to gamble on potential chrome apps, and a 25cm sword seems a bit much.

That United Rumble & Frenzy news, however, is fantastic. I still haven't been able to obtain them. So as long as they look like they're supposed to, I am all over that.

Oh and I already preordered the Drift & Jazz set and canceled my previous Jazz PO. This one has slightly more paint details and comes with a Drift accessory! Hahaha. Really, it was a no brainer because Drift looks awesome and I don't have Jazz yet.

Yeah, still torn...since TAV21 releases the end of this month and the full colour preview for TAV33 probably won't show up until after. Maybe I just have to get both lol.

I'm all over that Drift myself. Where did you preorder? It doesn't seem to be showing up yet on HLJ or AmiAmi.

Looks like they altered the paint apps slightly on the Rumble and Frenzy from the United versions, but otherwise looks pretty much the same. I got the United ones off ebay late last year before the dollar tanked but I'll be curious to see better photos of the TAV version. Definitely great if you missed out on the United set.

Oh wait, duh, you're completely right, there is no preorder yet. I canceled my Jazz PO but I've been so tired and preoccupied this morning I forgot.

Oh sweet, I missed the image of Rumble & Frenzy, they do look practically the same. I'm looking forward to finally getting my hands on that mold, because it doesn't look like Hasbro's ever going to do it.

I'm curious to see the finalized deco on these reissues. I'm glad I got the United ones a while back...got a deal on it on ebay. Paid about $45-$50 CDN shipped from an Ontario seller because the box was water damaged. Figures were new and perfectly fine.

If and when Walmart gets more of the Hasbro version in stock and I end up getting one I think I'll probably try selling that for 2/3 of the original price if not more when the Takara version is released. That way I won't be paying so much for the Takara version. That's what I did for Takara Metroplex.
