Tips on dusting?

My studio is filled with shelves of toys and dvds and after a recent clean that took HOURS (10pm-5am), I have to ask: How do you guys and gals tackle this and do you have any time saving tips and tricks for dusting figures?

Swiffer Duster works great for getting in all those nooks.

Re: Tips on dusting?

Oddly enough I was actually thinking about this earlier today. I was wondering if I installed a fan from a computer case inside my display case, would it cause enough airflow over my figures to stop dust from accumulating on them? They could be hidden and silent.

Re: Tips on dusting?

I don't think so, dude. Dust still manages to accumulate inside computer cases, doesn't it?

Re: Tips on dusting?

Yeah desktop fans are meant to cool off your PC, not for clearing off dust, because that accumulates regardless.

I like to use a large flat paintbrush. It clears dust off figures pretty easily.

Re: Tips on dusting?

Usually 2 to 3 bookcase shelves on any given week in terms of a schedule and paper towel and Q-Tips for the figures themselves.

Re: Tips on dusting?

I use compressed gas + one of those thin angled makeup brush for the grooves. I don't know what that makeup brush does, I just took it from my wife.
