Heavy Mods & Scratchbuilds Transformable Kre-O Ultra Optimus Prime

Working on a new transforming Kre-O Optimus Prime. This time, I'm building on the bases of the transforming Kre-O Bumblebee I did a few months ago. I first started swapping all the yellow parts on Bumblebee to make him progressively look like Optimus Prime, then I rebuilt the legs and the hinge mechanism holding the backpack and modified the chest a bit.

I plan on trying something new with backpack and the chest: basically turn a portion of the backpack into the chest (I want to move the windshield halves to the front to make Prime's iconic chest windows). The rest of the transformation would basically stay the same.

Current chest design is temporary btw, it's designed like that just to be functional.

Sculpt and proportions are lookin good, can't wait to see the alt mode.

i grill in alt mode looks better now than the first pic where it seemed so tiny.

I need to buy more bricks because I don't want to destroy this one and not remember how to rebuild it in case option 2 (flip over chest windows) doesn't work... so I consider this one final. No chest windows but I like the exposed Matrix and the flip out panels that looks like smaller rearview mirrors.

I want to attempt a new Bumblebee now. I had this idea of making him an helicopter now to make him fly like a bumblebee. And I want to do a Starscream, eventually.

^^ glad you're keeping this design...it's fantastic...but I do crave the windows! Maybe mini ones, a 'fake out' like Cybertron Prime?

I saw full Kreo prime for only $25 at Walmart this week... it's a great time to buy!

I think I found a way to move the actual windows where they should be in robot mode. It's going to be a lot of work rebuilding the cab but it *should* work.
