Hasbro Generations Skids, Waspinator, Swerve, Flanker, Cosmos and Payload

When I finally received these six bots, my immediate thought to myself was how fun they are. I enjoyed them immensely. They are enjoyable characters in both animation and comic and I'm glad they received the "action figure" treatment this time around.

This is a great group. Good transformations and face sculpts.

The plastic is okay. But it seems the plastic is slightly better on Voyager class bots. My Cosmos had stress marks on the waist swivel point after going to UFO mode and back to robot.
I had to do a iGear not-Cosmos comparo shot with Hasbro Cosmo.

Again, you can see the light plastics involved. All six figures barely beat the two cans of tuna.
Overall, despite the plastic, I still enjoyed seeing Skids, Waspinator, Swerve, Cosmos, Flanker and Payload in my collection. These are fun. Enough said.

I don't have them all but Waspinator is fantastic.

Waspinator and Skids are both amazing. Only issue with Waspinator is he could use some more paint apps. And Skids can't stand worth shit.

Sadly, don't have Cosmos and Swerve yet.

I had to fiddle with mine to make him stand. I thought it was a problem with only me.

Re: Hasbro Generations Skids, Waspinator, Swerve, Flanker, Cosmos and Payload

Got Wasp, Swirve, and Cosmos today.

Wasp looks nice, paint is good, but I might change the lightest green into a bit darker one. Mine has some hip joints that are a bit looser than I'd like, so giving it a future floor finish right now, but otherwise, seems the rest is good. Will likely keep this one, paint some parts of it, and never transform it as I heard there are some issues, and couldn't really care less, bot is nice.

Swirve: Looks very nice and feels sturdy in hand, and very small (I like the size), but was expecting more articulation. The head cannot turn, so toy has to face front, not side, and legs cannot rotate either to get more poses. Otherwise, I like both modes, and he looks damn good, and love the size so much (he is really cute) and colors, that I think I want to keep him. Don't like the target masters at all, and wish it was cheaper and came with a real gun.

Cosmos: Again, like the size, he is cute, and the alt can look nice with a stand, however, I find the 3rd party ones looked better in both modes, and transformation is very fidly. Don't like the targetmasters, wish it was cheaper and a real gun. Might keep, not sure yet, will have to play with it some more, but if I do keep him, I may repaint him, at least maybe some of the yellow in bot mode. Range of articulation feels better than Swirve.

Did you guys order this online from ToyRus?
I ordered Cosmos, Swerve and BH Prowl to save shipping. Then I found ToyRus even throw in 2 little gifts:
A kero blind-bagged packs, and a coupon for construct bots.
I was suprised that ToysRus will be so nice.

Not quite. The iGear Cosmos is close enough but ideally I think the X-Transbot size Huffer and Pipes are a good MP size to follow for the smaller bots.

Personally, I love Cosmos's robot mode! I like the I-gear's alt mode much better though especially with the reprolables so I keep him on the flying stand because I never really liked the chunkyness of his robot mode. Also as a bonus, you can give his gun to the Hasbro one (yes he holds it and yes it looks sweet)
