I've neve handled the MT so I can't really compare in that sense. On his own, one knee is a little looser than the other and the headmaster isn't quite as snug as I would like when connected to the body. The knee might've been better served ratcheted but that has more to do with the original design. Everything else feels ok so i can't nitpick at half the price.
