Haha, good point. I think the CAN dollar was higher than the US dollar centuries ago! But yes, normal as in US dollar being slightly above CAN, as opposed to now where its a kick in the chin and but.

Re: LF: Maketoys Green Giant
I pre-ordered Green Giant from BBTS and clicked the "declare as gift" option. Do you think I'll be dinged customs charges or be safe? I've heard stories of both happening. I guess it's just luck of the draw at customs.

its a risk, and thats why i stopped ordering from bbts. with an official company invoice and packing slip, customs will see it as a merchandise and not a gift
order from chimungmung or tfsource to be safe; they always ship like a personal gift package

Re: LF: Maketoys Green Giant
So even Tfsource.com people have experienced no customs?

Re: LF: Maketoys Green Giant
Thanks for the info. This is my first time making a major purchase through BBTS (or any toy website from the US for that matter). I always said I'd never buy "one of those expensive Transformers like others from the page do", but I just love the look of Green Giant.

Never. Ive bought up to 600$ worth and have bought stuff about 9 times. Havent ever told them anything either. Their shipping prices are costly tho, that may be why we never get hit by customs.

Just so you don't get upset when it arrives, save about 60$ for the door. Sorry.....
