First Look at Studio Series 86 Deluxe Arcee ? T30 Retool Confirmed

Courtesy of the Hobbymizer Facebook page, we have what appears to be our first look at the upcoming Studio Series 86 Deluxe Arcee figure. Arcee has been rumored for a while now to be a retool of the Earthrise figure, however this photo reveals that it will in fact use the previous Thrilling 30 mold instead, albeit modified with what looks like a a more cohesive car mode and added articulation in places such as the ankles. Stay tuned to TFW as we expect to have more updates on her shortly.

Nice, I prefer that version of Arcee to the recent one. Retooled, it's even better.

Looks like a pretty noticeable improvement on T30 and ER.

But for T30 I always think of this review I read: https://www.shortpacked.com/blog/chick-in-a-box-pt-2 "T30 Arcee was evidently designed by somebody who is incredibly thirsty for Arcee."

I hope they calm it down with SS86.

Based on the pictures, it looks like the stomach and hips are among the parts that got a re-tool, and they were the most "anatomical" parts of the original mould.

This looks like an improvement on the T30 version, and certainly way better than the Earthrise toy, but I don't think it's good enough to warrant a replacement. It'll be good for people who don't already have one, though.

Wonder if it will be sized down as well to fit with the current figure scale.

I love the T30 mold. Lol at all the earthrise/kingdom Arcee pegwarming as it is.

I'm probably gonna be in for SS86, even though reselling Kingdom won't be worth it. Give it to my kids.

There's also that Authentics Arcee and the BB movie one coming out. 30 years no Arcees and now we're over loaded with them.

I think we have a few Arcee before, like Energon, Animated or even movie ones... but none of them is good.

Better than Earthrise/Kingdom for sure. Happy to get this and have both. I can almost justify them as different characters what with that blank unpainted face on the ER/Kingdom version
