As Hoffman said there is probably still a significant reduction is traffic at retail so it is probably low hanging fruit for savings.
The bigger issue is that no one can find staff. No one wants to work.

More like a lot of companies don't pay enough to be worth risking your life and being harassed by unruly customers. Maybe if the pay and benefits were worthwhile, they'd find some staff.

Whether TRU can find staff or not wouldn't be so much an issue if they fixed their online system. That'll surely alleviate some staffing concerns (people just work in warehouses and don't need to deal with customers, I doubt the pay is any/much lower than store staff or competitors like Amazon).

I'd buy from TRU instead of Amazon for the same price (or a buck or 2) any day. It's just that it got ever worse than competitors big & small that I don't find anything there worth get other than exclusives.

What's sad is this was the exact same sentiment people expressed before it went under in the US.

Lol.

More like once the government stops handing out money like candy and people can start having to pay their own way again...

Fair pay for fair work but working at the store level at TRU is an entry level job.

Risking their life?

I wonder how many TRU employees have passed away from Covid...

Tell me you don't respect the working class without telling me you don't respect the working class.
