The Netflix one does tend to look more gold than yellow, based on the online photos that I've seen...
If they do reissue Netflix Bumblebee I'd like to hope that they do him with the Autobot logo on his chest/roof instead of on his foot/hood.

For quebec fans, MPM Ratchet will ship to quebec even though it says "no".

Re: ToysRUs.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion

That ecto is still out of stock.

For me, aside from being a cool figure and a collabo that 13 year old me would have died for, it's also the first real marketing piece for the new Ghostbusters movie.

This is the one that Ivan Reitman's son (the Canadian director of the original 2) is writing and directing.

No disrespect to the newest movie, I really like the cast and enjoyed the film but it wasn't that nostalgic for me. (anyone else think of any remakes that paid some homage but was missing the heart and soul of the franchise??).

This new one is actually more of a ghostbusters 3.

If we're never going to get the one that Dan Akroyd had will smith and chris farley cast for, this is the next best thing.

That's a big reason why I'm happy to shell out 100.78 for this figure.

I do not seem to be the only one.

The previous one is still available and costs less.

It has nothing to do with the movie though.

That's actually my point.

Dont recall the Ecto-1 ever transforming in the original movies!

Whenever someone says the dead horse trope i purposely keep talking because it cannot become a tool to kill a conversation or disagreement.

In the end we all know "to each their own" and collect what you love... who cares what others think.

Given some of the other crazy crap I read, it wouldn't surprise me if it was supposed to in Dan Ackroyd's original draft

Also oddly while there's an Add to Cart button on the EB Ectotron listing, it also has "home delivery" x'd out. And the store stock tracker only shows stock at stores in Quebec for the most part.
