Geez. And considering how disappointing the first Ectotron was... I mean, I'm glad it's available at retail at all, but come the hell on.

$90?

Good lord. Given how much Gigawatt seems to be shelfwarming as a deluxe that's priced a couple tiers above its weight class, I'm curious as to why they thought it was a good idea to do the same thing with a bigger (and thus already more expensive to start with) figure that I imagine most collectors already have.

And I'm pretty sure the only real differences are that this one has some altered paint apps to reflect being from the new movie and it has an extra little ghost buddy alongside Slimer, right? Is there anything else? Metal parts? Rubber tires? lights and sound? Copies of Ghostbusters 1 & 2 as a pack-in blu-ray? Cast in solid gold?

My Ectotron literally has 2 left feet but I'll take that over forking out Leader+ money for another one.

Bought the original @ full price from EB shortly after Gigawatt was revealed (when I realized the crossover figs weren't a "one-off" thing, and also figs looked OK)

I still kind of feel like it was too much, at seventy bucks
Absolutely f that noise

(not picking up "Ultimate X-Spanse" for the same reason)

Just submitted my price match request (for Thrust purchase March 10th) via TRU site's online chat; went smooth as silk, bud says adjustment will be on the card in 2-3 business days

At least xpanse is more like leader class or close. Ectotron is pure voyager.

I don't know, man. Engineering-wise, it's closer to a Deluxe in a Voyager's shell, priced like a Leader.

If I purchased Thrust in-store, can I price match through the website? I would imagine not?
