Gah! No vehicle mode pics! I've been waiting to see pics of the actual toys vehicle mode. Not Photoshopped official images or hand painted prototypes/testshots. Because some of the photos I've seen so far make it look like he uses different shades of grey plastic/paint for seemingly no reason.
Meh. I'll probably just end up getting the Takara version anyway.

His G1 toy had big horns, and his IDW design looks like this with big horns.

glad i have the fansproject version because i really don't like the combined torso mode.too pcc looking.
the unicron horns also look odd as i'm used to menasor having a crest and not horns.
still going to get these guys,but they're destined to stay on my shelf in individula bot modes and behind them will be the fansproject menasor.

Doesn't look too bad (better than Prime does) and I can definitely say that when mine gets to me in the mail next week, the first thing I'm doing is removing the black faux Truck from the combined mode chest.

Well I think the darker colours hide a lot of the flaws with that mold, but I still can't get over the chest into crotch proportions of this design... I wish it had a proper torso, I would have bought it without hesitation....
