Anyone else notice the knuckle things the platform rests on? I'm curious what they turn into.

NE-01, yes. And nope, it doesn't borrow anything from the other Megatrons, transformation is completely different from anything that has been released so far.

I can't remember who said it (some reviewer on Youtube?), but the Wei Jiang OS was not considered MP whereas the FansToys and DX9 are considered MP.

You mean size wise? I think they are all pretty close in terms of size. Otherwise I don't quite get how can a figure be "considered" into MP.
