And if what Vangelus said was true on twitter, TakaraTOMY issue one day licenses in Japan for Artists and crafters for Wonderfest. That would be a great idea.

Japan is a completely different animal when it comes to IP, patents and licensing.

Won't be going, as I haven't attended any yet. Its just too costly and too far.

Before the recent events involving the FunPub/Hasbro/BotCon/3rd Party meltdown, I had always hoped someday.

Unless things change from the current direction, I don't really think it would be worth it for me to attend. Much of the stuff I like to see is the third party stuff and customs and art and whatnot.

My lack of desire in attending BotCon is not some statement or stand for or against anything. I see what would and wouldn't be available there at the show, and I've decided it just doesn't draw enough interest to warrant me going to it.

man I should just try and pre register for the custom class and if I get in I'll go next year. Seems like it's paying for a lot of people's whole trip (regularly selling for $1000 on ebay already)
