Best:Walmart,Zellers,or the forums here or TFW2005
Worst:Planet Hobby at Square One.....ridiculous prices for incomplete nasty looking G1's.

Re: Best/worst places to buy Transformers
There's a nice little place in Montreal on Decarie near Cote St. Catherine called Toy Wars - the prices are slightly above retail, but the guy's nice and they'll occasionally get something a bit trickier to find in.

Steve who runs the place is a great friend of mine, I try to keep him up to date on cases and waves so he does not order an older case of ROTF or Animated. He is a Star Wars/Joe guy. So please give business to my friend ^_^
*EDIT* Forgot to mention good/bad places
For me it seems like Zellers is always hit or miss on releases. For both Bay movies, they seemed to get all the DEBUT toys FIRST but after any wave to come would show up at Walmart or even TRU first...... over all I always say go to Walmart.

Recently I've found a new little store on Concession Street in Hamilton called Odds and Ends. You get beat up boxes, or no box, but there are some good finds. SW Crossovers for $10 for example.

Any good G1 finds up there? I should jump up and have a look.. Rebuilding a collection, and starting one for my godkids. Could you tell me where it's located, or the nearest intersection Plz?

Re: Best/worst places to buy Transformers
I'd have to say from what I've found in Hamilton, Best: Toys' R Us for selection, but only sale pricewise. Zeller's is good when they have sales..
Worst: Walmart(Upper James)< Zellers(Centre) Selection is non-existant, this also goes for the eastgate walmart, most time I have been there, and they used to be good last year

I live around that area and NEVER noticed it was there before. I take the #17 bus about once a month and never seen it, must be going blind (again) or too busy looking at Fressers!
