Damn, didn't even realize this thread existed so thanks for the bump. I still enjoy Netflix, yes, and there's plenty of original content as well as the original value of accessing old shows that are no longer on reruns you can watch on regular TV.
My TV interests are quite expansive and time consuming as hockey usually takes my viewing priorities during the fall and winter; one can download TV shows, wait for reruns or catch them as live streams within a week after they air. You can't wait for a re-broadcast of a game.
Among current shows on TV that I follow: The Flash, Arrow, Gotham, Legends of Tomorrow, Supernatural, iZombie, Agents of SHIELD, The Walking Dead, and most recently Supergirl. I only just got into this shows this summer because of the network switch for the 2nd season; had to get caught up in preparation of the 4-show crossover and I'm glad I did. The first 4 episodes or so were pretty bland and seemed like stolen styles from Flash/Arrow, but right from the Thanksgiving episode and going forward, the series found its own feet and I probably enjoyed it moreso than I did with the most recent seasons of Flash or Arrow as a whole.
From Netflix: Orange Is The New Black (the latest season was the very best IMO, BTW), Stranger Things, Jessica Jones, Daredevil...I'm sure there are other original shows that I watch there but I can't think of them right now (the pitfall of binge watching seasons over a short time vs the staggered weekly increment you get with cable...they become less memorable in the long run due to the less frequent exposure, IMO), but like I said before, I mostly keep the subscription going for older shows.
