Re: The Masterpiece Appreciation and Speculation Thread

^I thought all purple colour parts on the UM prototype were to be chromed? Probably just another work in progress pic.

EDIT: looks like that's cartoon accurate. Would be cool if there is a exchangeable chrome bumper. Probably easy enough to do since the cab doesnt transform anyways. Either way I'm good.

Ok, the red bumper is not a good choice, accurate or not. Give me chrome!

Yah I mean MPs don't have to always be show accurate. This is a case where a mix of toy and toon would make the figure that much better IMO.

Much like MP Soundblaster with his purple vs. red tape deck window. They may just give us both options, chrome vs. red bumper.

From butt flap to bumper

Honestly, the red bumper is worse than the butt flap IMO.

Re: The Masterpiece Appreciation and Speculation Thread

I don't mind the toon accurate red bumper. I mean we all know Takara aims to be as screen accurate as possible, while Hasbro chooses their MP to be G1 toy accurate (e.g. Takara MP-13 Soundwave has red eye visor. Hasbro MP-02 Soundwave has yelloe eye visor). Magnus will be in robot mold any way.

Now if you are optimistic, IF(that's a big if) Hasbro is going to release their MP Magnus in 2015 after Takara, it will likely be G1 toy accurate and you may get a white/silver/chrome front bumper and more red on the robot.

But you never know what the guys at Hasbro are smoking at the time. Thank of the colour of their MP Sunstorm...

Love this pic. That's the Magnus look I remember from the cartoons.
