I will try it in Dino mode soon. I feel like this is one MP figure that I will play with often. Most I have only transformed once. But this old school style MP seems sturdier than MP 10 and on.
I don't mind the look of it. Wanna try it in a pic with my sharkies and quintessons soon. Next day off maybe

That is really good news. Back when Soundwave, Acid Storm and Metroplx were released they were all online and there was a decent sale. That was a great buying experience. Hopefully Grimlock will be online and a sale wouldn't hurt either! I'd pick one up for alt mode. This is the first MP figure that I wish I could display in both mode at all times. Ok... The Datsuns as well.

Who the slag is Scoria, surely someone isn't making a Scorponok!??

That's great it should be around the same price as the first Hasbro release of him. I remember picking him up as a gift for $69.99. I'll have to pick one up for myself this time.

Damn... Wish I knew that he was getting re-issued and at such a low cost! Guess I'll have to get another one just so I can have Grimlock in both Robot and Alt mode

Ha ha that's a great pic! You need to pose him with Godzilla and Mecha Godzilla in a battle royal!

Re: The Masterpiece Appreciation and Speculation Thread

What do you guys do with your MP Boxes? Do you display them? Trash them? Store them?

I really like the way YOTH MP Prime was packaged and also Quakewave and the new Scoria. Nice box art with the window flap so you can still see the figure. I wsh all Hasbro MPs came in similar packing.

Re: Hasbro Grimlock reissue. Lot of people concerned the plastic quality is inferior and thinner (right wing looks translucent)
