It's probably Transwarp time travel related though, I hope. That's how Beast Wars timeline went.

They'll likely retool Armada Unicron and sell it as a 'titan' for over $300. Add some unneccessary accessories to help justify the price increase.

Heyyyyy! What! That trailer 2 looked actually... Fun? Like a lot of the jokes worked for me. The story seems... Interesting? Like... Crazy for sure but fun. Peter Cullen is killing it. Everything seems high stakes. The action seems a bit under choreographed but at least its clear whats happening. The designs look understandable.
Colour me impressed 👍

I have a feeling that they're pulling a Kangaroo Jack with the Unicron stuff. Most likely it's all part of a sequel-bait scene at the end of the movie and we're seeing pretty much the whole thing here. Otherwise they would have almost certainly brought him up in the marketing before this.
Likely they'd intended for Unicron to be an unexpected twist to set up future movies but the studio is getting desperate and stuck him in the trailer as a hail-mary play to garner audience interest.
