What Online Retailers to buy from?
Hey everyone,
I just want to use some of your experience to know where the cheapest deals usually are for the import stuff. In the case, I am talking about retailers directly in Japan, for example AmiAmi, HLJ and Hobby Search (just to name a few).
Which ones end up having the best average price when shipping is factored in?

I like HLJ or locally Canadian I would go with Automaton. BBTS is great for Americans but when you average it out, after shipping and customs fee's, if BBTS sells something for 100.00 Automaton might for 120, it's still cheaper going Canadian and I am WAY more interested in supporting a Canadian business.
Those are the 2 sites I mainly use.

I have noticed that AmiAmi seems to have the best prices but I am just wondering if the shipping charges make up for it? Same with the others, is shipping do-able or is it insane?

Again, HLJ (hobby Link Japan) the shipping is pretty good and I have never been charged customs fees. Amiami I think is very similar to HLJ.
