Talking ITT: We go back in time & give ourselves toys of today

So after watching yesterday's episode of Continuum, I thought it'd be interesting to see what toy (or toys) we'd bring back to our past selves if given the chance. Now, this would of course be purely in the spirit of what toys we think we'd have liked back in the day, not for reasons involving mold stealing or otherwise changing the course of our future.

For me, I think it'd be ROTF Dirtboss. Most of the newer stuff I have now would probably end up getting destroyed or otherwise seem out of place, but this guy would likely have been something I played with all the time along side my Constructicons. I've always liked Forklifts & things, and the fact that he doesn't have any parts would've worked in his favor as well. Either that or the robot half of Ironhide, as that's something I missed having quite a bit.

What about you guys? It can be something that's currently part of your collection, but whatever comes to mind.

... Go!

Would probably have to be TFC Hercules and 25th anniversary Optimus Prime. Probably MP Grimlock too

Whatever it was that I bring back, I'd probably open it, get sand in all the joints from the sandbox, wreck the stickers and decals from repeated dunkings in the bath tub, and then break it lol.

I'd rather have the toys from back then today over the other way around...

Legends...buckets and buckets of Legends. Affordable, available, portable, ball jointed, detailed, and easily chronicalling designs from Cybertron to CHUG to Animated and Prime with some Bayverse to spice things up.

I'd take past me a bunch of modern TFs and $300. I'd tell me to weasel mom and dad into taking me to Stone Road Mall and buy two of every TF they have at K-mart and that toy store. Then I'd tell me to enjoy the heck out of one of each TF plus the modern ones, but to put the second of each one MISB somewhere completely safe in the farmhouse, where my siblings couldn't get to them.

Then I'd come back here, drive out to my parent's house, and pickup that sweet sweet G1 MISB stash.

Oh and I'd give young me some killer stock tips.

Do you have Perfect Effect Powermaster Prime upgrades PC-15 (little Ginrai dude) and PC-16 (transforming Prime cab) - or Fans Hobby Powerbaser - and you want some hard-to-get MISB ER / TR figures (the 3 ER Coneheads, Runamok, TR Twin Twist & Top Spin)? PM me if you're interested in working out a trade!

Re: ITT: We go back in time & give ourselves toys of today

I'd have hated anything from the Bayverse styling, and would have turned away Beast Wars stuff. I think I would have loved the Animated stuff though.

Hmmm......

Armada Supreme Unicron.
Cybertron Deluxe Excellion
RiD Leader Optimus Prime, Leader Ultra Magnus
Energon Leader Megatron
Animated Leader Megatron
Galaxy Force Voyager Starscream.

Yep, I think that time traveling haul would make me crap my pants as a child. I would have liked the styles, I would have liked robot and vehicle modes, and I would have been able to figure them out and transform them. Most of all, I would have liked the character representations too.
