Duel Model Kit optimus Prime

As someone who's heavily into model kits, I've always wanted to check this guy out. But the price tag is hefty, at TFCon the cheapest I've seen it for was 130$. And really, 130$ is a lot for a movie optimus that doesn't transform...for that price, I could get two Bandai Master Grades, or a Perfect Grade Gundam kit.

Isn't there supposed to be a new mold or something coming out? If so, I'm sure the older one will drop in price a little, and finding good condition loose figures can often bet better anyways.

Buster Prime.
When it first came out, I laughed at the price.

No one's laughing now.

MP Thundercracker. The last official seeker I need in that line but I can't bring myself to pay the going rate of 200 to 400. It may just have to be the igear "not thundercracker" but not for a while with that either

Takara is re-issuing a slightly modified Screamer which may see a hasbro release later this yr, early next yr.

I'd say Buster Prime for sure. After the Craptastic DOTM release I have decided that it will easily the BEST version of the character and should make it a priority, too bad I don't have the money for it.

Botcon Alpha Trion. I was meh about him at first, but grew to appreciate him. Unfortunately, his price has also appreciated and I am not willing to drop that kind of coin on him at the moment.

I agree. As someone with over 25 years of Gunpla experience, DMK Prime was a great first step by Takara to move into Bandai's territory. I passed on him as I was waiting for some review (which turned out wasn't the best). But yes, I'd rather buy a MG gunpla kit over DMK Prime. I mean you can get a much more superior fully transformable MG kit (such as MG Delta Plus from Gundam Unicorn) at a lower price than DMK Prime, which IMHO should be priced like Bandai's 1/144 HGUC.

Energon Omega Supreme...passed it up at retail, been regretting it ever since and I still can't bring myself to cough up da cash.

Also Cybertron Galvatron..again didn't think it important at the time but love the color scheme now.
