I was questioning this as well. I may pre-order one just to be safe, but it's a little annoying that the website is not only the same price but in fact cheaper since Eventbrite is charging a processing fee of $8 USD.

I guess they can rationalize it in the sense that we would have to pay for shipping living in Canada if purchased from their website. However, couldn't they have just did it on a first come first serve basis given that they said they would bring any unsold stock to be sold at the door any ways?

In theory, they could have just did away with Eventbrite all together and just use their website for the sale of the attendee ones under a different listing, if they wanted to go this pre-order route.

I pre-ordered. Not sure if it'll replace my Henkei Astrotrain on my CHUG shelf because I like the simplicity of the official one. But I can always resell this one if I regret it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

With selling classics this might not be worth it then? Too bad. Can't stand the toyworld one's shuttle on the sides of the train front look. Would like this for my mp shelf

I find it too small for the MP shelf and wanted it for my classics shelf. Since I picked up Chigurh I might as well wait for the Voyager Astrotrain to be released next year and use that to replace my deluxe classics
