Have you TRIED stop motion animation??

Good grief! I am working on the start of a stop motion series. I did a short thirty second spot with TERRIBLE editing and "special effects"...meaning, my own voice making them, lol. I applaud such artists and hope my skills improve over time. I could always use advice. In the meantime, for the laugh of it, why not check out the 30 seconds of terrible awesomeness?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Hv6TRoE6Tg

Hey...even Spielberg likely had some crappy first attempts!

I've had some good times with my son creating Minecraft stop motion movies with this.

Far less complicated than robots with movie parts, etc.

Hats off to you for attempting! Now go make some more and get better at it!

I remember doing one with LEGO using an iPad app. It was quite simple to use. What are you using to record?

Was fun to watch, like your personal sound effects. Great for first time.

The stop motion looked good. Your camera looked like it was jerking around, make sure you keep your camera in the same fixed spot and angle for each scene. Unless that was your intent.

Re: Have you TRIED stop motion animation??

It was NOT my intent to be jerk, but keeping the camera fixed is super hard. I am working on episode one of the actual series. Picture editing is a pain and I've been tediously looking for sound effects. It is coming along nicely but still work to go. Luckily, after that, it should be easier as a major prop that needs editing in every frame will be done and done. As for my "awesome" sound effects..lol..they are..er...something alright, lol. I'll work on the "voice acting" too, lol.
